Company Secretarial Interim Market Update

With the EU referendum looming over us, companies seem reluctant to commit to permanent hires, as uncertainty over a potential Brexit has gripped the market.

A recent study shows that the number of advertised vacancies fell by 7.3% in the first month of 2016, while the number of candidates going for the same position grew (Adzuna).

However, whilst the number of permanent hires has dropped, we have seen an increase on the number of temporary/interim instructions. Our latest market survey results show that a premium needs to be paid for these services (temporary rates are between 3-15% higher than permanent salaries depending on seniority).

If you would consider interim work or are looking to recruit a temp worker then get in touch with a Recruitment Partner at The Core Partnership, who will be happy to advise you on your options in the interim market - our confidential line is 020 3589 0333.
