We are seeking a bright and energetic Trainee Company Secretary for a challenging junior role for a 3-month contract with the possibility of going permanent afterwards. Our client is innovative and global financial services company require a dynamic and proactive graduate to support the team with a broad range of company secretarial work. Reporting into Head of Company Secretariat, this role offers excellent exposure to core company secretarial duties including attending board meetings, organising the AGM Preparations and Companies House filings. Responsibilities

  • Provide Company Secretarial support (liaising with the relevant company secretary to prepare papers for board meetings, committee meetings and shareholder meetings);
  • Dealing with routine board and shareholder correspondence;
  • Attend Board meetings and assist with taking minutes;
  • Draft and proof read annual and interim reports;
  • Assist with AGM preparation (draft scripts, proof read documents, AGM presentations);
  • Preparing and uploading stock exchange announcements;
  • Companies House filings and maintenance of statutory records;
  • Assist with website maintenance including getting relevant documents uploaded to the website.
