Join the Investment Trust team of an esteemed asset management company who seek a high-calibre and self-motivated Company Secretary. You will be responsible for ensuring three listed trusts are run in accordance with specified regulatory terms as well as providing a comprehensive company secretarial service and advising trust boards on governance matters. You will report into the Head of Asset Management Secretariat and will be expected to advise at board level with little supervision. To be successful in this role you must have the ability to work well under pressure as well as strong analytical skills.



  • Organisation and support for at least four quarterly board meetings per entity and involves agreeing agenda items, collating board packs and drafting and releasing RNS announcements.
  • Coordinating and organising shareholder meetings for the investment trusts in conjunction with other internal departments. 
  • Arranging for the filing of documents with Companies House and other government bodies as necessary. 
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. 
  • Attending to requests for notarisation of documents, certified copies of registers and board resolutions.

Experience and qualifications

  • Chartered Company Secretary qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar environment (funds industry)
  • Experience of investment trusts would be a very strong advantage
