Our client, a professional institution seeks a Governance Manager to join its team. This newly created position reports to the Head of Governance and you will be acting as a Secretary for Committees, preparing agendas, attending and minuting meetings, project managing all matters relating to the Institute and ad hoc company secretarial duties. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, will be confident and have excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities

  • To act as secretary to the Nominating Committee and its sub-committees, including the preparation of agendas, reports, minutes and associated documentation
  • To administer and support the annual process of review of committee memberships
  • To deal with all matters relating to external appointments
  • To project manage matters relating to the Institute, including preparation and despatch of notices, arrangements for nominations and ballots and publication of results
  • To assist the project manager in relation to the annual/special meetings
  • To act as company secretary to the Institute's companies including confirmation statements and directors’ resolutions (role shared with other members of the governance team)
