Our client, a charity with a great cause, is looking to appoint a committed Charity Secretary, who will join the organisation during a challenging phase in its development. Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for supporting key committees, managing the Charity’s contracts, pension and insurance arrangements, and ensuring compliance with the law and appropriate regulations. If you have company secretarial experience in a similar organisation and you are a self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects and work to deadline, then get in touch today.



  • Organising and preparing agendas and papers for meetings and committees; taking minutes, drafting resolutions, etc
  • Ensure that the Charity complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, liaising with external advisers as required.
  • Manage the Charity’s workplace pension schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage the Charity’s life insurance programme.
  • Ensure all contracts are managed effectively, renewed, reviewed and market tested where appropriate.
  • Review all significant contracts to ensure they meet the Charity’s requirements.
  • Management and preparation of risk documents.

Experience and qualifications

  • Qualified, or part qualified as Company Secretary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of managing full range of Secretarial activities.
