An Entrepreneurial, high grant wealth management business is looking to recruit an experienced Chartered Secretary to work alongside a team of 3 Company Secretaries to support the provision of Company Secretarial services to clients. Experience and technical knowledge of UK Investment Trust companies is desirable, but not essential. In addition, management experience, previous interaction with senior stakeholders and a background of servicing boards will be looked upon as being highly desirable.

 

If you’re adept at building relationships with senior management, have strong attention to detail skills, a great work ethic and are currently seeking a step up in the area of Investment Trusts then get in touch today.

 

Responsibilities

  • To provide company secretarial services for specific Investment Trust clientele.
  • To ensure that services are ran in accordance with applicable regulations and corporate governance recommendations.
  • To co-ordinate the planning and delivery of quarterly dividends.
  • To co-ordinate the production of Interim and Annual Reports.
  • Attendance at and organisation of Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings.
  • Production of Board Papers and taking minutes of meetings.
  • Writing the governance and corporate sections of the Annual Report.
  • To build and maintain strong working relationships with non-executive directors, advisors and other external providers.

Experience and qualifications

  • Extensive committee and board minuting experience. 
  • Technical knowledge of UK investment trust companies is desirable.
  • ICSA qualified is desirable.
