A leading Insurance firm is looking for a proactive Company Secretarial Assistant to provide exceptional company secretarial support to the Group Company Secretary. You will play an active role in providing a consistently high level of administrative services to the organisation and help to project a professional and positive image of the department and governance as a whole.

  • Provide administrative support, including diary management, filing, invoices, expenses, mailings, couriers and printing.
  • Proactively support the Company Secretarial Team in providing company secretarial services to the Group of companies and ensure compliance with UK and overseas statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Company Registers and Blueprint for all subsidiary companies and copy Company Books for the overseas subsidiaries.
  • Arrange and administer board and committee meetings within the corporate governance structure including regular recurring meetings and ‘ad hoc’ meetings.
  • Take responsibility for the collation, binding and despatch of board and committee packs.
  • Provide front of house services to external and internal clients.
  • Provide support to internal and external clients.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as required.
  • Under supervision, prepare statutory paperwork for subsidiary company administration.

Experience and qualifications

  • Qualified or Part-qualified Chartered Secretary.
  • Background within Financial Services / Insurance is desirable, but not essential.
