We are currently working with a well-respected financial services organisation, who are recruiting for a Corporate Governance Assistant to join their newly created governance function. The role holder will work closely with the Corporate Governance Manager, act as Secretary to several committees, assists with recruitment of NEDs, along with involvement in governance projects. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as Secretary to various committee meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, following up on action points
  • Maintaining statutory registers and conflict of interest logs
  • Supporting the wider governance team with administrative tasks and governance projects when needed
  • Assisting with recruitment for Non-Executive Directors
  • Working closely with the Corporate Governance Manager and liaising with Non-Executive Directors and Directors to advise on corporate governance matters


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ideally CGI qualified or part-qualified
  • Previous minute-taking experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels
  • Report writing skills
