We are currently handling an exciting opportunity as Deputy Company Secretary for an AIM-listed specialist private equity investor based in London. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of corporate governance and company secretarial support to the group and their investment companies in a fast-paced environment reporting into their Chief Legal Officer and Group Company Secretary. The secretariat is very proud of their level of good governance and the ideal candidate will share this passion and ideally have either AIM or main market PLC experience. Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Management of Group board, subsidiary boards and committees, including administrative support and minuting various meetings and monitor follow up actions.
  • Support the annual general meeting process and the production of the annual report.
  • Maintain statutory books and key governance processes.
  • Preparation and filings for Companies House.
  • Administering employee and discretionary share schemes.
  • Provide research on new areas of governance and company law.
  • Issuing stock exchange announcements.
  • Support Company Secretary on various projects.

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience of working in a UK AIM or main market listed company.
  • Ideally CGI Qualified
  • Flexible, able to cope with unexpected and varied demands.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
