A fantastic opportunity to take the ‘next step’ in your career by working as a Senior Company Secretarial Assistant for an innovative financial services provider in a newly created role. Joining the group’s collaborative company secretariat department, the role will see you mainly supporting the insurance division of the Group, preparing agendas, reviewing governance documents and ensuring corporate governance practices are implemented and preserved. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Help with the preparation of agendas, production of governance reports, collation and circulation of papers and drafting of minutes for the Insurance Boards and Committees
  • Review and draft, when necessary, Insurance governance documents
  • Liaise with the Conduct Risk Team on regulatory matters and make sure that the groups corporate governance processes and procedures adhere with regulatory rules and expectations
  • Support the Company Secretary and team during the AGM preparation and the production of the Annual Report and Accounts
  • Assist with project work; group strategic projects, due diligence requests, Group Policies, ad hoc requests

Experience and Qualifications

  • ICSA qualified/ part-qualified
  • Minute taking experience desirable
  • Financial services or Plc experience preferable
  • Working knowledge of UK Companies Act 2006 and additional relevant legislation
