Overview

We’ve been instructed to work on great opportunity to work as Senior Manager for a well-established professional services provider with a wide range of clients from main market, AIM, to private. Reporting to a Client Director, the role will see you supporting the Directors in giving company secretarial advisory services to the group’s clients, managing junior members, drafting governance sections of the Annual Report and taking minutes plus a number of other responsibilities expected within a company secretarial team.

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • List and post Company Secretarial activity
  • Provide UK Corporate Governance Code advice and reviews
  • Prepare, design and print Report and Accounts
  • Draft governance sections of the Annual Report and carry out gap analyses and project management
  • Company Law and Stock Exchange regulatory compliance
  • Carry out Board Meeting administration and minuting
  • Manage junior members of the team
  • Liaise with clients, ensuring that you initiate and maintain sold relationships

Experience and Qualifications

  • Fully qualified chartered secretary (ACIS/FCIS or equivalent)
  • Solid company secretarial experience within a listed company environment
  • Working knowledge of corporate governance issues
  • Previous experience in a managerial role
  • Strong comprehension of Diligent Entities

  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with people of varying importance
